Best RPGs for Android

RPG is one of the game genres, targeting more the hardcore core of the game world. Players take care of their character, customising it in their own image – either in appearance or through the allocation of experience points, and killing one opponent after another. Given the complexity of the genre, RPGs are difficult for beginners to get to grips with, but they’re not easy for the developers either. In fact, the more complex a game is, the more likely they are to make a mistake that will sink the game completely.

Exiled Kingdoms

Exiled Kingdoms is a single-player action RPG that stands out for not being a freemium game. Immerse yourself in a story in which you must save the world from the horrors left over from a previous cataclysm. While the graphics aren’t the best part of the game, it makes up for it by not having any additional purchases to spoil the experience. The user interface is reasonably easy and looks like classic games like Diablo II or Baldur’s Gate. Complete the story, upgrade your character and explore the world around you to find all the secrets. The free version offers a fairly large trial with two character types, and the full version naturally unlocks everything.

To the Moon

To the Moon is an adventure and RPG game for Android that is about two doctors who travel through the memories of a man who is about to die to fulfill his last wish… On their journey, the doctors discover the life and dreams of this man and try to find a way to fulfill his greatest wish: a trip to the moon. It’s an exciting and immersive game that combines adventure game elements with simulation and visual elements.

Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger is a legendary RPG developed by Square Enix for the Super Nintendo, which stood out for its fantastic narrative, gorgeous 16-bit graphics, and thus remains one of the best video games of all time. The game itself has retained its essence even after updating some of the artwork and audio in it’s port to Android. Admittedly, this will come as a bit of a shock to fans of the game, as it is not an emulated SNES ROM, but a standalone game that has been optimized for Android with default touch controls and Bluetooth controller support. Now you can also play this game offline, making it a great companion for long plane (or car) trips. If you’ve never played Chrono Trigger before this game, it’s definitely worth your time and money. It’s a game full of mystery, adventure and action with a very satisfying, fascinating story.

Tempest

Most RPGs are often related to fantasy worlds, but Tempest is one that we can take out of that category because it’s based on a pirate world (that once existed). From fighting other pirates of the world to winning and upgrading ships, these are some of the things you can do in this offline Android RPG. The difficulty level with regards to rewards is very high, so it won’t be easy for you to get extras. It should be noted that Tempest is one of the RPG games that has the best graphics on Android, which you can check while playing, plus it is not a free game, it will cost you a few euros, but you will not be bothered by ads or links to third parties.

Pocket Mortys

You don’t have to be a fan of the “Rick and Morty” series to play Pocket Mortys. It’s definitely not a game that has a realistic system in addition to its “Fight Mode”. For those who like Pokémon, you will really enjoy this game because it has many similarities, especially in the way you find and collect characters from different game environments. Sure the game can be boring at times, due to the strong repetitive system, but it is fun because of its theme.
